April marks the nation's "Month of the Military Child," a time to recognize military children and youth for their heroism, character, courage, sacrifices and continued resilience. In celebration, the Joint Venture Education Forum (JVEF) is encouraging everyone to wear purple on Friday, April, 21st, 2017 as a visible way to salute and honor our military children.
Purple is the color that symbolizes all branches of the military - a combination of Army Green, Marine Red, and Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard Blue.
Please join us in the support of military children by wearing purple on April 21st! Students not wearing purple are required to be in school uniform.
Please contact the office ant 307-2100 if you have any questions or concerns. Click on the link below for the Purple Up flyer. Thank you!
