Keone’ula Elementary School Community,
Aloha everyone and welcome to the start of the 4th quarter of the 2017-18 school year.
As a reminder, during the month of April we will begin our SBA accountability testing for students in Grades 3 through 6. Our students and teachers continue to work on their grade level standards in preparation for this single measure of success. We will be having a SBA spirit week to encourage every student to do their very best, and we ask for your help and cooperation in sharing that message as well.
In addition to that ongoing effort, I would also like to take some time to recognize all the hard work and dedication our staff has put into the many educational opportunities they have provided to our students. Every member of our staff has worked tirelessly to create wonderful events and unique ways for our students to apply their skills in literacy, math, science, technology and community service. Thank you everyone for your effort, and thank you to all of our parents and families who have participated and supported these activities throughout the year.
Here is a list of some highlights from each grade level and other school wide groups. Many more activities are forthcoming as we close out the year, so join our students and staff as we continue to provide a tremendous learning environment for the Keone’ula Elementary community.
This list of highlights certainly could include many more things that aren’t captured here, but it serves as a reminder to us all as we move into April and our critical accountability testing that the measure of a school’s success can never be captured in a single test score. Each and every day our staff and students have and will continue to strive and accomplish great things here at Keone’ula Elementary School.
Again, please help me in encouraging all our 3rd through 6th graders to do their very best on the SBA Exams in April.
Aloha and Thank you again for your continued support of Keone’ula Elementary School!!
