Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math

We are excited to use the Project Lead The Way (PLTW) program to integrate Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) at our school. At the elementary level, we are using PLTW Launch to provide students with a collaborative hands-on approach to STEM.

PLTW Launch is aligned to the Next Generation Science Standards and the Common Core State Standards for Math and English Language Arts. There are four modules that focus on engineering, biomedical science, and computer science. The modules are designed to introduce students to an activity, project, and a real world problem that they must solve through collaboration.

PLTW challenges students to try new things and to apply their knowledge to find solutions to a problem. It is an interdisciplinary STEM program that brings learning to life!
